Well, Annie's come up with another masterpiece of functional, wearable art couture here. Beautifully flattering to lots of different figure types, fully comfortable and as "fast forward" stylish as it gets, this outfit does everything you want and more.The top is an easy to wear new style that's genuinely innovative but retains the classic charm that we all appreciate. It's got a wide 'boat' style neckline, ¾-length drop sleeves with contrast trim cuffs, a pocket at one side of the hem with a string for ruching, a 'scarf' that drapes over the opposite shoulder, deep vents at the hip for ease of movement and a hemline that arcs across the figure.The long pants are a gaucho or palazzo style with an elastic waist, a figure-flattering hip-level seam and legs that become progressively fuller to end up VERY wide at the hem. They have the appearance of a split skirt. Done up in a monochromatic duo of rayons, the subtly textured one for the body of the ensemble and the smooth and silky one with a satiny surface for contrast on the cuffs and pocket. The fabric has great movement and flow and washes up beautifully in cold water.
